You can now download the whole game as a zip filed called e-game.zip. Unzip all the files into the same folder to make it work. Then open cool.swf to play. |

The beta version of this game will have 68 text files associated with it. You will be able to download the whole package as a zip file and play offline. You will also be able to change the players' names and select how many players will be playing. You can still test the game but you will have to play each counter in turn in the present outline version. You will be able to get a raise in your salary for good work, buy a new laboratory and equipment. You will be called before a Parliamentary Select Committee to answer questions, appear as an Expert Witness, win the Nobel Science Prize, be appointed as the Government's Chief Scientific Officer, go on scientific expeditions around the world and generally have fun as many scientists do. There are now 68 questions loaded. There is now 1 photograph, there will be a few more, but this is at the expense of downloading time. Yes. I will be making a electronic dice: for the time being you will have to use the real things or your ingenuity. To play offline you should copy files called experiment.txt and then experiment1.txt through to experiment20.txt and cool.swf and ecology.htm all to the same folder on your hard disc. The game will not work if you do not have these files in the same folder. You can then open either ecology.htm or cool.swf to play the game. The easiest and quickest way to play offline is to download and unzip all files from e.game.zip into the same folder and then open cool.swf. Finally, if you are a teacher you can use this program to generate your own test. You can amend the text files to any topic you like, just remember to keep the format. Replace the text after the = sign with your own question, hint and answer. Send your ideas for enhancements to e-games@gondar-design.com |
